Climb
something.

Eighteen thousand square feet of former tool-and-die shop on Foundry Road, Millbrook. Forty-five foot rope walls, a bouldering cave with honest overhangs, a training room that is not an afterthought, and setters who put up something new every week.

The gym

Three zones,
one warehouse.

A 1962 tool-and-die shop with the sawtooth roof still on. Skylights, a concrete floor we did not bother to polish, and every wall built from plywood we would happily show you the back of.

Overhangs from 15 to 50 degrees, a foot of flooring underneath, and roughly 300 problems from V0 to V10 up at any given time.

45 feet, 22 top-rope lines, 8 lead lines, and four auto-belays for the nights your partner cancels. Belay check required; the class is two hours.

Hangboard and campus board mounted on a plywood wall in the training room
Training room 03

A 40-degree adjustable board, hangboards at three heights, campus rungs, rings, a squat rack, and no music you did not choose yourself.

The reset schedule

Something new every Tuesday.

Setters strip a section, wash the holds, and put up a fresh set. Reset zones reopen by 4 pm the same day, and the whole cave turns over every three weeks.

Grades are honest. A V3 here is a V3 outside. Every problem gets climbed at grade by a setter before it opens; if they cannot, it goes back up easier or harder, not mislabeled. If one feels soft or sandbagged, tell the desk. We keep a list and argue about it on Tuesdays.
ZoneReset dayWhat comes down
